Lucha Singh the golden retriever and Sher Singh the guinea pig (referred to as a hamster in the subtitles) come to no harm.
There is a shot of a cat being suffocated in the aftermath of the blast.
A man is turned in to a dog and then magically exploded.
Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy
A dog appears in several scenes and is unharmed. (A wild bird files into a classroom and is killed.)
Gilda the hamster dies of apparent natural causes. She is put in the freezer and later thrown away. Nothing happens to the family's cats.
Old Rose's dog and goldfish are not harmed. Several dogs are seen on board the Titanic; though it is unclear whether or not they survived, we do not see anything bad happen to them.
To Catch a Thief
The black cat that appears at the beginning of the film is not harmed.
A deer is hit by a car and appears dead. After being put in the back seat, the deer comes back to life and destroys the car.
Winfried's dog, Willi, dies of old age in a touching scene, prompting him to visit his daughter and setting the events of the film into motion.
Top of the Lake
A man shoots a deceased man's dog after he decides he doesn't want to take care of it.
A number of real, live rats are shoved off of a pedestal. Probably not enough of a drop to kill them but they could have been injured. Later one rat, who has swallowed a tracking device, is shot. We do not actually see the rat being shot but we do see some fake-looking splatter afterward. A tank full of goldfish is smashed and the real, live goldfish are seen flopping on the floor.
Lucy the dog falls down an elevator shaft but is saved by Ben Stiller.
A dog eats poison and is shot to end its suffering. Camels are also shot and killed.
Animated. Morph, Silver's shape-shifting pet, is not harmed.
