Monty Python and the Holy Grail
An obviously fake cat is banged against a wall in several scenes as well as trod upon during a dance number. A cow and a sheep are comically catapulted over a wall. A rather unpleasant rabbit is blown to tiny bits.
A dog is shot and killed with an arrow. A cat that is carried around in a basket by a main character survives.
An injured deer is found in the forest. Morgan watches the animal for a moment. She kills the deer out of mercy.
Mrs. Ashboro's Cat
Margaret, an elderly cat, dies offscreen at the beginning of the film and comes back as a ghost. Bad guys try to first asphyxiate and later burn down a barn full of adorable rescued animals but both times all the animals are saved.
My Dinner With Andre
Two friends meet for dinner at a restaurant, talk for a while, and then go home.
My Dog Skip
Dog is hit with a spade but survives. He later dies of old age.
My Dog Tulip
This film is animated. Tulip, an abused dog, is rescued. When Tulip has puppies, there is talk about drowning them but instead they are given away. At the end of the film it is mentioned that Tulip died at an old age but we do not see it happen.
My Lovely Girl
Golden retriever dies but only after accomplishing his goal in life. Sad scene, but not left with any dissatisfactory gaps.
A pet is injured or appears dead but ultimately lives.
A cow is shot off-screen. Tina the llama is not harmed, except maybe emotionally - no one wants to be called a fat lard.
Need for Speed
A dog (Rottweiler) appears briefly in one scene and comes to no harm.
