Family dog narrowly escapes explosion in the most epic scene in movie history, but ultimately survives the movie.
Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade
Indiana the dog is seen briefly in a flashback and is unharmed. (Numerous wild animals are seen; the only ones that come to any harm are some rats that are set on fire and a flock of birds that crash into an airplane.)
Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom
A large snake is cut open to reveal a number of smaller snakes which are eaten alive. Monkey brains are eaten from the monkeys' decapitated heads. The elephants that carry the heroes in a few scenes do not come to any harm.
Cats are placed in in a bag and drowned.
Inside Llewyn Davis
Ulysses the cat goes missing but safely returns home to his owners at the end. Another cat, who is mistaken for the missing Ulysses, is abandoned on the side of the road. Later a small animal is hit by a car and is seen limping away. It is only seen in silhouette so it is unclear whether it is the look-alike cat or even a cat at all.
The body of a dead dog is seen. It is shot and we see the bullet being dug out. This is different from the original Norwegian version of the film, where the dog is alive when it is shot.
Into the Storm
After a bad storm, a dog is found without his owner. The dog is unharmed and eventually reunited with his owner.
Into the Woods
Milky White the cow dies but is later brought back to life.
A parakeet is smashed with a hammer.
It's a Disaster
A dog is seen in one scene near the beginning of the film and doesn't come to any harm. There is mention of a cat living in the home but it is never seen.
Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit
The stolen dog walked by Kevin Costner's character in one scene lives and is not harmed, though we are left not knowing if it is ever returned to its owner.
Zorro gets shot after disobeying.
Neither Pilot the dog nor any of the numerous horses that appear come to any harm.
Pippin the Dog enjoys fetching his stick until he is presumably eaten by Jaws the Shark.
